Active lifestyle and sports have been a part of my life since the age of 3. I have enjoyed the beautiful the competitive world of rhytmical gymnastics for almost 8 years, during which we have won several tournaments. Since then, I have tried many different movement types such as classic ballet, pantomin, stage dancing, acrobatics, orchestry, horse riding as well as ballrom dancing. Movement and sports became an essential part of my everyday life, so I did not want to part from it because of my studies or my work. I still keep myself in shape every day.
During this time I have also became interested in medicine and that is the reason which married my two interests with a degree in physiotherapy in 1989 (Faculty for the University of Medical Advanced Studies). I began my work at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Healthcare. Here I have come across a higher need for rehabilitation, which means the possibility to return professional athletes to their careers. Following this I have worked on many areas of physiotherapy in traumatology, intensive care, rheumatology, neurology, breathing rehabilitation departments and have worked for six years at the locomotive rehabilitation center at Szent János Hospital.
During these years, I have realise that I am interested in the wonderful, yet very fragile part of the human body, the spine. I have also realised that I have still much to learn. I have completed several different courses during the years, from which I would like to point out the spinal diagnostic and therapy method of McKenzie as well as the Barvicenko method which I have concluded with a degree from the Semmelweis University of Medicine.
I would like to use my professional experience that I have gained in my past 25 years at the DoctorFit Spinal Clinic to make the most out of the possibilities of the patients that come to us at the clinic and to make their everyday life better as much as possible. I firmly believe that the human body is constructed in a wonderful way and we must do our best to use its natural healing abilities for as long as possible and avoid surgery. My personal contact with my patients is equally important to me, as I believe that the soul is also able to heal our illnesses.
